6 Amazing New Hampshire Holiday Parades You Must Attend
November 10, 2018

As we say goodbye to foliage, and prep for the snow we also get welcome in the holiday season. A time to dress up in sweaters, drink hot chocolate and head downtown to watch Santa Claus make his triumphant return to your town’s holiday parade.

And a lot of places in the granite state know how to throw a Holiday themed party, and these parades are among the best in New Hampshire.

Saturday, 11/17 – Concord Parade

Join 105.5 JYY and 93.3 The Wolf at Concord’s Holiday Parade. It forms at Community Bridges on Pembroke Road. Parade will depart at 9:25 AM and proceed down Canterbury Road to Loudon Road; turn left onto Loudon Road and proceed to Hazen Drive, where it will disband in the parking lot of the Department of Transportation.

Saturday, 11/24 – Nashua’s Winter Holiday Stroll

Less a parade and more of a party, this free and family-friendly holiday event kicks off at 5 p.m. with a candlelit procession up Main Street from City Hall to Railroad Square where the City’s official Christmas tree is lit. Join Frank 106.3 for all the fun!

Sunday, 11/25 – Dover Parade

Come on down and join 98.7 The Bay and 98.1 WTSN on Central Avenue to watch the Dover Holiday Parade.
The parade will begin at 2:30PM starting out at the Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce and will continue down Central Ave through downtown ending at Pine Hill Cemetery. The theme this year will be Christmas through the decades.

Sunday, 11/25 – Light-Up Laconia Festival & Holiday Parade

98.3 LNH will be participating in this year’s Light-Up Laconia Festival & Holiday Parade. Parade goers will be treated to a community countdown to the illumination of the city with the annual lighting of the tree…which will prompt Laconia businesses and residents to turn on their lights in order to “Light-Up Laconia.”

The 0.7 mile parade route begins at 3:30pm and will leave from Wyatt Park and end at Veteran’s Square.

Saturday, 12/1 – Manchester Christmas Parade

Frank 106.3, and 105.5 JYY will be on hand for this year’s ‘Rocking Through the Holidays’ themed Christmas Parade. The parade begins at 4pm and will run down Elm St.

Sunday, 12/2 – Portsmouth Parade

Join 98.7 The Bay and 98.1 WTSN in downtown Portsmouth for their huge parade starting at 6pm. The theme this year is Peace on Earth. The event is also a food drive for local food pantries, so please bring a nonperishable food item to donate if you can. Portsmouth High School students will be walking the parade route with grocery carts to fill with your help!

Rain/Snow date is Sunday, December 3 at 6:00pm
